Welcome to Sunset 4848, a colorful ski house with gorgeous sunsets. Sunset 4848 is a beautifully designed 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat that accommodates up to 8 guests, offering breathtaking unobstructed sunset views of the wild West Virginia mountains. This inviting space features a cozy living area with a gas fireplace, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, and a large dining table with banquette perfect for gatherings. Each bedroom is thoughtfully appointed with memory-foam mattresses and heated pads for ultimate comfort, while the stylish bathrooms include eco-friendly, locally sourced toiletries. Enjoy the private deck for al fresco dining or stargazing, making this the perfect mountain getaway for relaxation and connection with nature.

Sunset 4848 is a thoughtfully designed vacation home, where every detail is crafted to provide an unforgettable escape. With unobstructed sunset views over the West Virginia mountains, Sunset 4848 is the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature.
The home features all recently remodeled finishes and fixtures (except the original millwork and fireplace stone) to elevate & modernize each space. We understand the ultimate Snowshoe, WV goal is outdoor adventure but when you return home after a fun filled day, we hope you will enjoy an elevated and stylish stay. We wanted to create a fresh, colorful and cozy experience with upholstered beds in the two adult beds, and built-in bunks in the bunk room. We designed a custom upholstered banquette with seating for 8 to 10. We outfitted the home with unique art for each space, including the entry and hallway, carrying the palette and concept of highlighting nature throughout. Luxe linens and plush mattresses, performance velvets and other soft textiles, along with other special touches from the kitchen to the bathrooms, will enhance the your experience. We have done our best to ensure you have a beautiful and comfortable stay.

This place was the perfect getaway for our group! Good space, with quality amenities! We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the condo when we weren’t riding the slopes. It was very inviting and warm with plenty of space for our large group. Would definitely come back to this condo!

Clean, comfortable, and stylish. Many thoughtful touches! We liked that it was a top floor unit. The walk to the slops is short, but if you are carrying ski gear you’ll get your heart pumping a bit. Or take the free shuttle that comes by regularly for a 1 minute ride.

Beautiful well appointed condo in the heart of Snowshoe Village. Less than a 5 min walk across the street and you were in the village to either drop in for ski runs or grab a bite to eat. The condo itself was extremely warm, cozy and stocked with everything a family would need. Views off the back deck once the snow storm cleared are beautiful.

The bedrooms were a bit more snug than anticipated but the condo had everything we could possibly need from plenty of towels and dishwasher pods to seating for all of us at dinner. Hosts were quick to respond and friendly. And it was even more walkable than we had anticipated making hitting the slopes early super easy. The back view of wildlife was also really peaceful even being right in town.
